Will Sync Badge Bluetooth work with modern Hearing Aide devices?

Will Sync Bluetooth work with modern hearing aid devices using: ASHA (Audio Streaming for Hearing Aids) or Made for iPhone (MFi) Bluetooth protocols or just with Bluetooth 'Classic' protocols?

@kenneth.erickson (Customer) SyncBadge supports Bluetooth 5.3 with HSP and HFP profiles. We do not test individual hearing-aid models, so compatibility depends on the Bluetooth version and profile supported by the device. Here is the Knowledge Article

@kenneth.erickson (Customer) Apologies for the inconvenience regarding access to the Knowledge Article. Vocera does not test or validate every Bluetooth device individually.

As of today, the B7000 SyncBadge is validated with the following Bluetooth specifications:

    • Bluetooth Version 5.3
    • Bluetooth Headset Profile (HSP)
    • Bluetooth Hands-Free Profile (HFP)
    • Minimum firmware version: 2.3.1.12

ASHA and MFi are not currently validated for the B7000. Compatibility may depend on the Bluetooth profile supported by the hearing aid.
