@bskunkle (Customer) We have escalated this to our Support Engineering team. One of our engineers will connect with you. In the meantime, below are a few general troubleshooting steps you can try:

If Vocera says “doesn’t hear you” during login, it usually means no sound was picked up. This can happen if the badge or device isn’t close enough, not pointed toward your mouth, or there’s a problem with the microphone.

    Recommended Troubleshooting Steps:

    • Check badge placement – Make sure the badge is positioned 6–8 inches below your chin, angled toward your mouth.
    • Speak clearly after the prompt – Wait for the “Genie” prompt before speaking your login phrase.
    • Avoid background noise – Try to log in from a quieter environment.
    • Restart the badge or app – This can help clear temporary issues
    • For mobile users – Ensure microphone permissions are enabled in your device settings for the Vocera app.

I have tried all the steps below. I'm wondering if the receiver/microphone is broken?
