kevin.randall (Customer) asked a question.

Does anyone find the Vocera Analytics server useful?

None of the reports meet our needs. We were told if we wanted to get different reports, we would have to find someone to create new Crystal reports for us.

@kevin.randall (Customer) Thanks for bringing this up, it is important to understand how the experience has been for you and others. From our end, we are checking internally and will share any insights or updates that might support your reporting needs as soon as we have them.

@kevin.randall (Customer) You can create custom reports using your Crystal license. Here is the Vocera Analytics Admin Guide which walks you through the process. For more specific guidance, we have escalated this to our tech team, and our team will connect with you directly.

It is not useful to us. There are so many holes in the data brought in compared to VRS we don't use it.

VRS is no longer supported from 25 June 2025. Eventually we will decommission the product and the server as it has vulnerabilities that cannot be fixed. So we will only have Vocera Analytics. For instance speech recognition in VA is 5% lower at our site, than Vocera Report server at the same site which is quite radical. I do like the interface of this product, it has a lot of potential. But still has some way to go.

@ahough (Customer) Thanks for sharing your feedback, it’s great to hear you see potential in VA. VRS includes button presses even when no one actually spoke, which made the speech recognition numbers seem higher. VA only counts real spoken commands, so the results are more accurate. Just adding a couple of documents below that may be helpful for other community members.

Speech recognition calculations overview and Differences between VA and VRS reports

Thank you for sharing. I have looked at the Speech recognition calculations overview yesterday before you shared. Could you please review under category 'Recognized' the description. There seems to be some conflicting statements. Paragraph 1 and 2 ends with "command will be considered recognized". There is a note at the end stating otherwise. What does this mean? It's highly ambiguous.
