Hi Tim,

Can you advise if you are trying to nest a group inside a parent group? This may be why you are not seeing the "Member of group" section. The 'Member of' section shows the higher-level group that is being edited.

As a best practice, we would typically not advise nesting a department group under any other group as this can cause a 'Member of' section to be blank. 

When looking at a sub-group or ordinary group, the logic is intended to display the parent group(s) in the 'Member of' section.

If you do have this particular user case, for the department to be nested underneath a parent group:

• You would need to go and edit that parent group, go to the Member tab, and add their newly created group to that screen.
• Then when you go back to edit the newly created group you will see it has the parent group listed in the 'Member of' section.
