Here are instructions to perform a factory reset on a C1000.

Restoring Factory Default Settings for C1000

To restore factory default settings, perform the following tasks:

1. Remove the battery from the Minibadge and insert it again. The Minibadge vibrates.

2. Press and hold Volume UP button and DND button. After some time, the Minibadge enunciates, “Minibadge boot up in progress.” Keep holding the buttons.

3. Release the buttons when the Minibadge enunciates “Administrator mode.” The Minibadge then enunciates “Press Call button to reset to defaults.” If the Minibadge does not initially enunciate the reset to defaults option, proceed to the next option by pressing and releasing the Volume Down button until the Minibadge enunciates the reset to defaults option.

4. Press and release the Call button. The Minibadge enunciates, “Press the Call button again to confirm.”

5. Press and release the Call button again. The Minibadge enunciates, “Ok resetting to default.”

Note: Resetting to default option clears the badge properties and point the badge to Vocera SSID, BCU to 10.0.0.1, and exits administrative mode
